Dr. Jim Hill hails from Morgan County in Eastern Kentucky. After completing his Biology degree at the University of Detroit, he received his doctoral degree from the University of Kentucky Dental School in 1980. Dr. Hill began his practice back home in West Liberty, while also teaching at the UK Dental School in Lexington. In 1983, he established his practice in Lexington and began a full time commitment to patient treatment. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association and the Bluegrass Dental Society.

Tim Armentrout, DMDDr. Tim Armentrout graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1982. Originally from West Virginia, he came to Kentucky for his undergraduate college degree and has made his home in the Bluegrass area since then. Prior to obtaining his dental degree, he taught in the Dental Technology Program at the Lexington Community College and continues to maintain a certificate as a Certified Dental Technician. After achieving his dental degree, he entered private practice and in 1984 accepted a faculty position in the College of Dentistry at UK, where he achieved a rank of Associate Professor. His appointments were within the Department of Prosthodontics and Department of Oral Health Practice. His responsibilities included managing patient care in the student clinic, as well as instruction in all phases of general dentistry.
In 2007 Dr. Armentrout felt he wanted to apply his knowledge to a private practice care setting and entered into practice with Dr. Jim Hill. His areas of expertise include cosmetic and general dentistry, as well as prosthodontics, which is the dental treatment involving the complete restoration of the oral dentition through the use of implants, crowns, dentures and partial dentures. He is known for his gentle touch and mild mannered disposition.
